What a great experience with Tyler. We recently bought a new build and before we closed we had concerns on how the roof was being vented. Tyler came out, inspected the roof and gave us his recommendations. There was no pressure to install any vents and he explained everything to us. Didn't charge either. Fast forward to this week. I asked Tyler if he would check my roof for damage after Hurricane Milton. He was able to squeeze me in, sent me the pictures, and put my mind at ease by telling me the roof was in perfect condition. In the process of moving my elderly father back to Michigan, hurricane Debby dropped an unprecedented amount of rain in Sarasota. The exact day my father’s home went on the market, water started leaking and a large hole developed in the ceiling. In a panic, I called the first number my realtor suggested and left two messages (they still have never called back). I called the second number she suggested, Blue Sky, and was immediately greeted by a wonderful customer service agent. I was able to get an appointment within 3 days, even during a major storm! Tyler reached out to confirm the appointment and gather information. When Tyler visited the home, he sent me pictures of his visit and called me with all the details. Tyler was extremely helpful and knowledgeable but must importantly, he didn’t try any high pressure sales tactics. He was honest and told me exactly what was needed. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Blue Sky to my family and friends. Exceptional service!

I have water leaking behind a window/wall. I suspected it could be coming from a juncture with the roof/flashing @ 1st/2nd story. Tyler came out and inspected the area. He was honest, professional and thought about several scenarios. It is not a straight-forward scenario. He felt the roof, flashing, shingles were all intact; he did not want to unnecessarily pull apart the roofing/stucco. He sealed an area and we are going to watch it. I am going to replace the window, suggested to re-route a gutter spout. Overall I felt like he was honest/has integrity and gives good advice. I don't need a roof repair and he could have easily told me I did. It's nice to have this kind of experience with home repair issues. Jeff Silverstein

He and Blue Sky recently replaced a roof on one of my rental properties that ultimately ended up requiring much more work than was anticipated. They were able to complete the job in less than one week, with an additional weeks notice given, and the pricing for the scope or work completed was fantastic when accounting for needing to replace almost ALL of the decking on the roof.... that we found out about after removing the preexisting roof. We needed shingles glued down in order to close on the sale of our house. Tyler and Will were wonderful to work with. They quickly reviewed and estimated the project and completed work on time to enable the closing to proceed on schedule. Pricing was great as was the quality of the work. Tyler came out and he was great. He told us how we can fix our roof ourselves with some supplies from Home Depot, or we can have them repair the roof. I have called so many roofers who don’t want to repair, only replace. This company not only said they can repair it, but if we’re handy, we can do it ourselves.
