Allen at Blue Sky came out for an estimate on repair and gave us the news that we actually had too much hurricane damage as well as wear and tear and needed to replace (sadly for us, 3 other roofing companies concurred). He was thorough with his photos and explanation. He was awesome with communication and on time for the estimate. Blue Sky was one of four estimates. Best price and customer service. We did end up going with our current roofing company because of discounts given and even then seriously considered Blue Sky - hoping we don't regret the decision! My experience with Garrick at Blue Sky was great. I needed help identifying where a leak in a roof was coming from. Garrick was very responsive to my call and came out to do a visual inspection of the roof and test where moisture might be coming through. We were unable to immediately identify the cause of the leak, but he came back out a second time to do more testing and he found the problem area. He advised me on a few different options for repairs. We moved forward with a very cost effective option, it was fixed within 48 hours and there has not been a leak in the roof since. He even came out a third time to test that the repairs had fully fixed the leak, which was great. I really appreciated Garrick's clear and responsive communication via phone and text throughout this experience. He was very accommodating of my schedule and the schedules of the tenants of the property and was always on time, not to mention his positive and friendly attitude. Garrick also went above and beyond by referring me to a team that could help me with ceiling drywall repair, and they did amazing work as well. Thank you so much to Garrick and the Blue Sky Team!

With hurricane Milton coming through, as may others in our area we ended up with roof problems. This was my second house re-roof in my life. I didn't enjoy the first one and was coming somewhat apprehensively to this one as well (and just to spare the suspense, my apprehension was completely uncalled for ;) ) I came across Blue Sky roofing through Google search - when I initially called, I was thinking of patch fixing and not many companies were willing to work on patching, most of them wanted to do an entire re-roof, so most didn't even want to come out. Blue Sky Roofing stepped up to the plate and Alan ended up being my sales person/project manager. He came out to do the estimate and was very detailed explaining all the problems we had with the roof - and at that point it became obvious that the re-roof would be in order. Besides the obvious hurricane damage, we had lifting shingles and improperly draining flat roof. He sent us pictures and videos explaining the problems we have and offering the possible solutions (for example for the flat roof he offered to install a special package that would create a slight slope in the flat roof to ensure that the water rolls off instead of sitting on top. I didn't even know that such a thing existed). The quote we received was timely and competitively priced. Any question I had, Alan was very prompt in replying and explaining. I was pleasantly surprised that our job got scheduled fairly quickly (I think we got put on the schedule within 2 month of signing the contract) and that the initial timeline was kept and the whole project took probably less than a month to start, finish and pass all the inspections. The actual roof was replaced in literally a couple of days - kudos to the Blue Sky Roofing team. The whole team worked with me in an exceptional way. Because the property had septic on the front, there was limited space to store the delivered products and the trucks could not be brought into the yard, so Alan made sure that none of the heavy stuff trampled on the septic and I also was very much pleasantly surprised as to how well the yard was picked up after the job was done (in my previous re-roof experience, we kept finding nails, cigarette butts and various junk for a while after the roofers left). I would say this crew was immaculate :) . We did run into one snag - the shingles we initially picked were out of stock, so Alan immediately reached out to let us know and we pivoted to choose a slightly different color and truly I think it looks even better. Alan also provided variety of pictures to show us how the colors we were leaning towards would end up looking on a real roof (he was able to pull up de-identified photos of past jobs to give us an idea of the finished product look in our Florida setting). The whole process ended up being a breeze, we got lots of documentation supporting any additional things that had to be fixed, which made things very transparent and ensured that we had no questions along the way. So, if you are looking for a reliable, competent, transparent and professional roofers that will not cost you an arm and a leg, look no further. Blue Sky Roofing delivers exactly what they promise - excellent roof at a fair price, installed with care and attention to details. PS, below are a few photos of what we started with and the finished new roof (first 3 pictures are pre re-roof and 2 last ones are the finished look). Called a salesperson out and helped my Grandma get a quote from this company. Salesperson was cool, roof is fine but the sub contractors left an absolute mess inside of the home. All through the home was tar and gravel from the workers. My family had to clean a mess inside the home left by the workers. Keeping in mind this is a multi- million dollar home on the St Armands circle in Lido Key. Pretty okay experience until I saw the mess left through the home, knowing they had a project manager on site. I get some stuff outside but tar on the floors and just being left for us to find later when visiting was pretty disrespectful.

I would highly recommend Bluesky Roofing to anyone who is in need of new roof. Had them replaced my roof after hurricane Ian. They were the first one on site to access the damages and gave me estimate. Their price is very reasonable. Communicated very well throughout the whole process. Fast forwarded 2 yrs later. With hurricane Milton. We had some ridge shingles missing. One of the neighbors who also had Bluesky Roofing called them for theirs. They decided to check on all the house in my neighborhood, that they have recently done without even being contacted by anyone. They found the damages and put in work order and yesterday they came and replaced the missing shingles under warranty. Very pleased with their company. In the process of moving my elderly father back to Michigan, hurricane Debby dropped an unprecedented amount of rain in Sarasota. The exact day my father’s home went on the market, water started leaking and a large hole developed in the ceiling. In a panic, I called the first number my realtor suggested and left two messages (they still have never called back). I called the second number she suggested, Blue Sky, and was immediately greeted by a wonderful customer service agent. I was able to get an appointment within 3 days, even during a major storm! Tyler reached out to confirm the appointment and gather information. When Tyler visited the home, he sent me pictures of his visit and called me with all the details. Wow! So glad I ended up calling Blue Sky though I was a little intimidated with a 5 Star review since I was positive it would cost $$$ for that quality of work! While purchasing a new property that needed a ton of work, I reached out and unfortunately they couldn’t get to me for a quote on work as quickly as I needed. I hung up and tried to find another roofer when my phone rang and it was the owner of Blue Sky. He heard my dilemma and called back to see how he could be of assistance. He pulled one of his guys, Allen, out of a meeting the next day to send him out to my new property! Allen was awesome, he went over my 4-point inspection and noted everything that needed to be addressed and went to the property to take a look and provide a quote. While waiting to hear back from him on a quote for work to get past inspection and a quote for a new metal roof, I was advised that I only needed to fix 2-3 things to get it done and insured. Allen showed up and removed a pipe and patched the hole as well as patched a couple of areas where the roof cover was pulling up and didn’t charge me a penny. I was in shock. These guys went above and beyond to get this house purchase over the line by helping with my small repair needs. I can’t say enough great things! 5 stars indeed deserved!!

After researching 36 companies, Blue Sky Roofing is the only one with a 5 star review with no complaints. Alan Hebert and Robert Gillis always answered my calls immediately or within a couple of minutes. Alan took the time to explain the difference among the different types of roofing’s. An incident happened in which a pane in my parlor window was severely cracked. They are working to replace it with no bickering or debating back and forth. Ian destroyed much of our roof last September. We’d made several calls to local roofers for estimates of roof repair or reroofing and those estimates were ridiculous or wanted to work through our insurance company. Blue Sky gave us a virtual estimate, which sounded too good to be true when compared to other roofers. My contact, Charlie, could not have been more responsive, professional or thorough in his estimate. When I reached out to confirm the price given for a new roof, Charlie showed up the next day to confirm that estimate. We discussed/chose roof shingles and went with an Owen Cornings product. During the busiest months of hurricane repairs, Blue Sky put us on their schedule within 5 weeks of signing a contract. Once started, the crew worked efficiently and neatly. The area around the house was cleaned daily and after the job was done. We had a few small areas I wanted Blue Sky to look at and, once I reached out to Charlie, Allen (the production mgr) was here within two days to inspect. He fixed those areas to my satisfaction and now I’m 100% a satisfied customer. I’d recommend Blue Sky Roofing to anyone looking for a properly installed roof at a very fair price. If you only need a repair I was told go somewhere else!! I was even supplying the tiles! They were left over from the roof . They promised me the estimate that day and I never got it. I called Mercedes two different days and she said it’s coming. It never did. I called her again and Justin told me if I don’t like the $6500 figure “ there’s about 180 different roofers in Florida call someone else!” How they are a recommendation is beyond me. I just wanted my leaking roof fixed. Mercedes and Justin are nice to your face but don’t do what they promise and I had to beg for a free estimate.

I live in Englewood and after Hurricane Ian my roof didn’t make it. I saw Robert walking our neighborhood and ask if he would give me an estimate. He informed me all estimates were free and he would get straight to it. Robert was very easy to communicate with and very professional. He answered all my questions from start to finish. We sat and went over the process of shingle color, getting and NOC signed and deposit collected to start the process. It was a simple task and again felt very comfortable with all the information. My material showed up within 3 weeks and by the 4th week I had a new roof. Robert called me and informed me on my delivery date for material, when the dumpster would come and then my start date for the roof. The communication was absolutely above many other companies that couldn’t even return a phone call. I would highly recommend Blue Sky Roofing and Robert as a project Manager.
